Overall length: 26cm - Barrel length: 14 cm - Muzzle diameter: 12mm
Octagonal, slightly tromblonated barrels, hair-striped webs; silver barley grain front sight. Signed PENIET PARIS in gold on the upper ribs; thunderbolt friezes and muzzle rings. Round-bodied plates, signed PENIET PARIS. Swan-neck hammers. Bassinets with fire screens.
All iron fittings.
Walnut mounts with long barrels and checkered stocks. Horn sticks.
Good condition. Small restoration to fut on one.
François PENIET, harquebusier in Paris from 1785 to 1810. King's harquebusier. Silver medal in 1805.
