Louis XV Style Half-moon Marquetry Games Table

Louis XV-style half-moon game table, in precious wood marquetry, convertible into a game table with interior sheathed in green felt.

The top features, on the closed side, an elegant inlaid decoration with central chess checkerboard surrounded by floral motifs and scrolls.

Once opened, the table reveals a large game surface covered in green felt edged with gilded braid.

It rests on four curved legs typical of the Louis XV style and is adorned with beautiful ormolu trim: sabots, falls and drawer handles.

A small drawer in the front provides storage for games or accessories.
