Large Burgundian Cabinet From The Louis XIII Period

A significant Burgundian Louis XIII-period cabinet, crafted from walnut, featuring a powerful design and remarkable geometric relief decoration.

The front features two large doors, each divided into two heavily molded panels. The upper panels are adorned with spectacular radiating diamond-point motifs, while the lower panels feature a geometric design of diamonds and triangles in relief.

The front is framed by thick moldings. The upper section is crowned by a prominent molded cornice with denticles, characteristic of 17th-century architectural style.

The lower section opens with a wide drawer, fitted with two drop handles, and rests on ball feet. The interior offers ample storage space with several levels of shelves. The back consists of panels assembled into a solid crossbar structure, reflecting traditional craftsmanship of the past.

It has a very beautiful presence and a deep brown walnut patina, which particularly highlights the dimensions of the carved decoration.
