A lovely Louis XV style games table, forming a console, inlaid with rosewood and green-stained wood, with a softwood backing. Rectangular in section, it rests on a frame with cabriole legs. The top is inlaid with a central chessboard and two lateral panels. Closed, it measures: Height 73cm, Length 73.3cm, Width 38.5cm. Open: Length 73.3cm, Width 77cm. The felt playing surface is in good condition. A Louis XV period piece, second half of the 18th century.
