Charming Louis XV all-sided writing table, made with remarkable care in the spirit of 18th-century Parisian productions.

The curved top, with scalloped contours, is sheathed in burgundy-red leather decorated with an elegant gilded small-iron frieze.
It is encircled by a gilded brass molding harmoniously underlining the curved lines of the piece.

The waistband, finely inlaid with precious woods featuring floral decoration and stylized foliage, opens with a side drawer revealing a leather-wrapped writing tablet and a storage compartment.
The fronts feature a superb rosewood and amaranth veneer laid in frieze, enriched with contrasting plant inlays.

The set rests on four cambered legs with elegant falls, fully veneered and embellished with rich chased gilded bronzes: foliate sabots, corner falls and rocaille-decorated keyholes.
The bronzes add further refinement and testify to fine craftsmanship.
