Pair Of Lyonnaise Shepherdesses, 18th Century
Pair of Lyonnaise Bergeres with Cushions, Louis 16, from the 18th Century. They are made of molded and carved Beech. The Backrests are in Cabriolet with Fleurettes decoration at its top, curved to fit the position of the Back. The armrests with cuffs are fully upholstered. The Seat Crossbar is curved with Flowers and the Connection Dice are molded. The Spindle Legs are fluted and rudenté, The Upholstery is an Old Beige Silk embroidered with Flowers and Foliage, still in very good condition. The cushions are very comfortable. Our Bergères of Lyonnaise origin measure 91 CM in Height, 61 CM in Length and 45 CM in Depth. The seat height is 50 CM with the Cushion and 40 CM without.
