Louis XVI Lacquered Shepherdess, 18th Century.
Very pretty Louis XVI period bergère, lacquered and gilded. The armrests rest on fluted and gadrooned baluster columns. The fluted legs are also intact. This bergère is 100% authentic. All the doweling is good. The paint is worn and chipped in places, which nevertheless gives the whole thing a certain cachet. A very pretty seat that certainly deserves a stamp.
