Pair of 19th-century carved and gilded wood armchairs. The beautifully rounded backrests are supported by carved wooden uprights decorated with heart-shaped motifs. The seats have a lovely round shape and four tapered legs carved with acanthus leaves, heart-shaped motifs, and garlands of flowers. The seats are very comfortable. The antique beige velvet upholstery is in good overall condition. The seats are in very good condition. Superb quality of workmanship. Some minor losses to the gilding. A beautiful set.
