Serving dish in hand-painted Chinese porcelain. It is characterized by a very rich, multicolored decoration in vat enamel. The composition is divided into eight panels surrounding a central medallion. These include deer (symbol of longevity), squirrels among vines, Mandarin ducks (symbol of marital fidelity) and goldfish (symbol of abundance and prosperity). As for the flora, peonies, lotus flowers and the "three fruits" (peach, pomegranate, lemon) dominate, symbolizing long life, fertility and blessing.
