An elegant cutlery set for six people, made of 0.900-purity silver and stainless steel (knife blades). It consists of 6 knives, 6 spoons, 6 forks, 6 teaspoons, 6 small spoons, 6 knife rests, 1 serving spoon, and 1 ladle. The handles feature a geometric shape, flaring slightly toward the top, with beveled edges. The functional parts (spoons, fork tines) are inspired by the classic shape of European tableware. The handles are adorned with raised relief, in the traditional style of Vietnamese craftsmanship. The relief depicts a bucolic landscape: a peasant wearing a conical hat (nón lá) walking along a path carrying a basket, a tree in full bloom (a plum or cherry tree), and a traditional thatched cottage.

Silver hallmark imported from Poland, used between 1963 and 1986: a veiled woman’s head with the letter W (Warsaw) and the number 2 (minimum fineness of 0.875). 0900 – indicates a silver fineness of 900/1000 (known as “0.900 fine silver” – 90%) MỸ NGHỆ VIETNAM HANOI – “Mỹ Nghệ” means “applied art,” “artistic craftsmanship,” or “craftsmanship” in Vietnamese. This cutlery was made by artisans in Hanoi. HTX / BACSON / SX – the abbreviation HTX refers to an artisanal cooperative (Hợp tác xã), and SX stands for “production” (Sản xuất). Bắc Sơn is the name of the cooperative or the region where the items were made. Knife blades marked “Rostfrei” (stainless steel).
