Large Vase, Bronze, Signed, Japan, Meiji Period (1868–1912).
This vase is crafted from bronze with a deep, warm patina ranging from bronze to dark chocolate. It features an organic, flowing sculptural form reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style, which drew heavily on Japanese art of that period. The body is encircled by relief leaves that harmoniously entwine it, as well as stem-shaped handles.
