Very fine decorative earthenware dish depicting a female figure in feminine attire typical of the Directoire period and the early years of the 19th century.
This magnificent painting on earthenware bears the signature E. Faux in the lower right-hand corner of the decoration and is dated 1889.
Note two minor flaws and a small lack of material on the bottom border without any influence on the visual of our earthenware( see photos ).
