A very fine pair of Louis XIV style chairs in solid walnut. Each seat rests on four console legs ending in scrolls and connected by an X-shaped stretcher, itself adorned in its center with a carved daisy. The backrest is high and inclined towards the rear, providing great comfort. Each seat is in very good condition, having been recently reupholstered; it is firm and comfortable. The upholstery is a beautiful velvet with a floral pattern, also in very good condition. Beautiful nailhead trim.
