An interesting antique oil painting on canvas mounted on a wooden panel, a fragment of a larger painting that once depicted an angel. The painting dates from the 16th century, and after cleaning the lower left corner, a signature ✍️ with some initials was revealed. The painting depicts an architectural scene with numerous figures near stylized sculptures and various perspectives, set against a blue sky appearing on the right side—a style typical of the Mannerist period, almost Nauf-like. It is likely the work of a Roman master, whose identity requires further study based on the signature.
