A Very Delicate Ancient Roman Micromosaic, Featuring Pastel Colors Typical Of Maestro Biagio Barzott
Artist: Biagio Barzotti Roma
A very delicate antique Roman micromosaic in pastel colors, typical of the work of Master BIAGIO BARZOTTI, who created it between 1853 and 1855. The mosaic is of fine workmanship. It is a complete piece because it has a period frame and dates from the second half of the 19th century, as evidenced by the four streetlamps surrounding the obelisk, which were installed in the square in 1853. The black frame is period, as is the metal base.
