4 Large Post Cubist Rubbed Pastel Drawings, Signed Loch Cuba For Javier Martinez

4 very large post-Cubist drawings by Cuban artist LOCH (Javier MARTINEZ), on recycled paper
Works are all signed LOCH, located (Havana, Cuba) and dated (2019 for 2 of them and 2022 for the other 2)
The rubbed pastel technique stabilizes the drawing and ensures better conservation: the pigments are perfectly fixed to the paper and less sensitive to humidity.
The artist worked in restricted chromatic ranges (from white to gray and black, and ochres) but exploited the full palette with subtle fades and gradations, shadows and parts catching the light or color more widely(from orange to brown)
The 4 drawings were framed later and simply (under glass on cardboard background, neutral border on white paper background and craft paper closure)
The first 3 are in tall/standing format, and the last in elongated format, even it stay only the artist decision regards his inscription; but 1st one has in fact 2 inscriptions both horizontal and vertical !)
Dimensions (strict drawing, excluding marie-louise)
1. 47*74 cm (width*height)
2. 51*67 cm (width*height)
3. 50*66 cm (width*height)
and 4. 74*47.5 (length*height)
Perfect condition:
Any folds, holes or other defects... Only 2 minor paper tears along the edge and not affecting the drawing itself, visible on the detailed photos.
The drawings could be sold as a pair (650€), although I would find it a shame to separate them.
The works were purchased directly from the artist's studio a few years ago.
