Paintings Forming A Unique Quadriptych Between Kinetic And Mechanical Art Around 1960-1970.
Artist: Dans Le Style De Julio Le Parc
Set of 4 paintings forming a quadriptych representing a strange scene with a staircase in a decor of tubes with colored ends of yellow, blue and red. The artist painted sheets of paper probably with an airbrush then inlaid these cylinders using a scalpel or cutter then applied red colored strips laminated.
These sheets of paper were glued on isorel panels then was set with black plastic (see the last photo).
No signature or mark.
The style is between neo-surrealism, kinetic art, reminds me of certain achievements of Julio Le Parc (born in 1928) from the early 1990s.
Simply put fasteners on the back to install them on the wall.
Each panel measures 111.5 cm x 76.5 cm.
