Automation The Violinist By Christine Duchaussois Nombre d'Or Porcelain Doll Closed Mouth
Artist: Christine Duchaussois
Automation dated 1998 and signed by Christine Duchaussois and le nombre d'or.
The violinist, like a real musician, moves her arm with the bow and her head from right to left, to the music of Verdi's Rigoletto thanks to the music box in the base.
The feet, hands and head are made of porcelain, this one is in the style of the beautiful Jumeau or Bru dolls from the 1880s.
Perfect working condition, the mechanism is wound to the right of the violinist and there is a pull tab on the back, at the embroidery on the base, to lock or unlock the mechanism.
The violin and the bow need to be reattached to the hands, these were probably glued, micro wear to the dress (last photo) and note that it should be cleaned.
Delivery possible by chronopost for: France 40€
Europe 60€
Others 90€
