A set of engraved crystal glasses from the famous French crystal manufacturer Baccarat.
This set is called "Michel ange" and "Michelangelo"; it is listed in the 1933 Baccarat Tableware Catalog and was created in the late 1920s.
The engraved arabesque designs, reminiscent of the great Italian master’s works, gave the set its name.
The glasses are acid-etched with the “Baccarat” mark on the bottom.
This set includes 35 glasses:
- 9 water glasses, 10 to 10.2 cm
- 11 red wine glasses, 8.5 cm
- 5 white wine glasses, 8 cm
- 10 champagne flutes, 10 cm
Three additional glasses are included, each with a chip of approximately 1 mm
