Pair of formerly silvered lost-wax cast bronze statuettes representing a one-legged beggar leaning on a crutch and a noble or man of quality holding a full bowl, inspired by the subjects sculpted in ivory by Wilhelm Kruger (see the last photo representing the original which is in the Jean Gismondi collection). The nobleman is 8.5 inches tall and the beggar 8 inches. the bases measure 8.3 cm x 6.6 cm.
