Extremely rare pair of Louis XV-period salt cellars in cast silver by master silversmith Louis Reynes, who was awarded his master's degree in Montpellier in 1749. They are in perfect condition and quite heavy for their size: 230 grams.
They show small black traces in certain places typical of the reaction of silver with salt. They can be found on all salt cellars . These black spots can be removed by local polishing at the customer's request.
