"Silver Box / Snuff Box, Guitar Shape."
Repoussé silver snuff box, in the shape of a guitar. It is decorated on both sides with rural scenes representing figures in a natural setting. The side part is adorned with rocaille-style volutes. The lid is mounted on a hinge. Most likely Dutch work from the end of the 19th century. The box bears a French control mark "swan". Dimensions: length 13 cm, maximum width 4.5 cm, height 1.2 cm. Weight: 47 g. Good general condition, without dents; however, the strings are missing.
