Art Deco vase in flamed earthenware with salamander decoration - P. Bonifaces, around 1930

Elegant Art Deco vase in earthenware with deep brown flame glaze nuanced with black and ochre, with a beautiful speckled effect and slightly glittery in the mass.

The belly is decorated with a relief decoration depicting a stylized salamander, applied on the surface and treated in a spirit typical decorative productions of the years 1925–1935.

Very nice enamel quality, with drips and cooking variations giving the room a great visual richness. The bottom is completely enameled, with support ring left raw.

This vase is attributed to Paul Bonifas, known for his Art Deco productions with animal decoration and flamed glazes.

Beautiful decorative object, representative of the taste of the 1930s.

Condition: good general condition, slight traces of use on the heel, without crack or apparent restoration.

Period: around 1930
