Extraordinary in more ways than one. The weaving is goldsmith's work. Sumak wool-on-wool technique. Extremely fine, with the precision of a watchmaker. The patterns seem to be sculpted into the material. The vegetal hues are dense and saturated. A true delight, the epitome of beauty, the kind that moves. Indigo blue in 3 different hues. Deep carmine red. Pale pink in small touches. Ecru.
The whole in perfect harmony.
Finally, the piece is intact, in near-miraculous condition, beyond reproach.
