Early 19th-century mercury gilt bronze vase clock with wheat ears, matte effect and agate burnishing.

Vase on a pedestal base with applied palmettes.

The escutcheon-shaped body of the vase is embellished with rosettes, crowns and a butterfly. Two handles stand out laterally from a radiating decoration simulating a sun.the handles end in a scroll between the ears of wheat that adorn the pendulum at damping. The clock stands on 4 "ball" feet.
The movement is an hour and half-hour chime. The white enamel dial is signed "Charles à Orléans". the hands are in blued steel.

Estant : the clock is in exceptional condition. The mercury gilding is thick and original without the slightest wear. The movement is in good working order.
