A very rare scale model of Dosne's apparatus for Rosensthiel's color experiments and colored circles based on Maxwell's optical theories.
The split protractor is missing. However, the instrument is in good condition and can visualize black, white, blue, green and yellow circles.
Rosensthiel and Dosne devices are extremely rare in private collections.
