HARAN (Emile) Table for examinations and operations – Medical office model, France, circa 1900 Oak, steel and brass; 110x90x60cm. Rare and large operating and surgical table bearing the label of Emile Haran, “Paris, 12 rue Lacépède”. In his 1901 catalogue, Haran presents this table as a “Simple table, for examinations and operations. Medical office model. Table in waxed oak, articulated backrest, seat and extension shelf, socket and pressure screw plate, movable thigh support crescents, nickel-plated”. It is offered at the price of 200 francs. Good condition, missing the easels to rest the legs, however rare surgical and medical clinic table.
