Beautiful Empire period solid walnut chest of drawers opening with 4 drawers on the front. It is framed by detached columns adorned with bronze rings, resting on powerful feet characteristic of early XIXᵉ century furniture.
The front features a beautiful walnut quality with a warm antique patina. The drawers are embellished with bronze handles and escutcheons. The ensemble is topped by an overhanging white veined marble top.
The sober lines and architecture with detached columns are typical of the Empire style, inspired by Antiquity and much appreciated in French furniture of the early XIXᵉ century.
