Consulate Period Chest Of Drawers In Mahogany And Mahogany Veneer
A Consulate period commode in mahogany and mahogany veneer, resting on two claw feet at the front ending in plaques and two three-ball feet at the rear. The uprights feature corner columns with caryatids. It opens with three drawers in three rows separated by crossbars. The keyhole escutcheons and drawer pulls are in gilt bronze. The original, functional key opens all three drawers. Black marble top. French polished finish.
