Louis XV period solid walnut standing man, 18th century provincial work.
This piece features an elegant front composed of two molded and scrolled doors separated by a central drawer, the whole resting on arched legs characteristic of the Louis XV style.
The wrought-iron escutcheons and fittings add a great deal of character to the ensemble and bear witness to antique workmanship. The overhanging molded cornice emphasizes the slender silhouette of the cabinet.
The interior opens onto two storage spaces with shelves, offering practical storage for linen or crockery.
Nice old walnut patina.
