Empire period commode-secretary in walnut and grey marble – 19th century. Early 19th century Empire period commode-secretary in solid flamed walnut, topped with a veined grey marble. It features three large drawers in the front and one hidden secretary drawer beneath the top. Turned column uprights, solid panel sides, antique brass hardware. An elegant and functional piece, preserved in good antique condition with a beautiful patina. Circa 1815–1830
