Garrard Keshi Pearl Necklace With 18ct Gold Clasp In Original Box
An exceptional keshi baroque pearl necklace of remarkable visual presence, presented in its original Garrard — The Crown Jewellers box.
Comprising 14 large rectangular keshi pearls (approx. 18 × 20 mm each) separated by 15 round cultured pearl spacers, measuring 47 cm in length, this necklace commands attention through the sheer iridescent brilliance of its pearls. Keshi pearls — formed without a nucleus and composed entirely of pure nacre — produce a depth of lustre and a shifting play of silver-white, rose-pink and pale lavender that is simply unmatched by any nucleated cultured pearl.
The 18-carat gold (750) oval filigree clasp with open-work floral detailing is beautifully proportioned and of excellent quality.
Two pearls carry small natural surface cavities and two display minor nacre protuberances — entirely natural growth features of genuine keshi pearls, fully disclosed.
A striking and prestigious piece, equally at home as a wearable jewel or as a collector's object of intrinsic value.
