Superb solid oak hunting sideboard, Louis XV, dating from the XVIIIᵉ century, displaying very fine craftsmanship and proportions.
The cabinet opens at the front with two richly molded leaves, adorned with moving panels with scalloped decor typical of the Louis XV taste.
The front is highlighted by an elegant central crosspiece embellished with carved circular medallions, bringing rhythm and refinement to the whole.
The cut-out, sinuous lower belt rests on cambered feet at the front, characteristic of furniture from this period.
The sides are also panelled and moulded, testifying to meticulous workmanship on all visible faces.
The wood features magnificent oak graining, enhanced by a warm patina in honey and amber tones, revealing all the charm and authenticity of the XVIIIᵉ century.
The top shelf is topped with moulded Campan marble, a traditional element of hunting sideboards, offering both elegance and functionality.
