Mark of David CANONGE received master in 1689: END / crossed arrows / D.C.
Height: 24.8 cm.
PEZENAS, Between 1700 and 1717
In very good condition and rare provenance. This master's productions are always of fine quality.
Bibliography: "Potiers d'étain de l'Ancien Languedoc et du Roussillon" by René Richard, who does not reproduce this model in his work, which is nevertheless documented by a collection of nearly 2000 French pewter pieces from the 16th to the beginning of the 19th century.
