Pewter mug of cylindrical shape with quarter-round foot and flat roof lid with twisted ribs, with ovoid thumb rest. It is decorated with a German inscription accompanied by floral motifs: "Zu einen madren Angedensen mill ich diese Kanne Schenfen / 1831".
Hallmarked by Christian Wilhelm HOHENNER, received as a master in 1803.
Height: 27 cm.
WUNSIEDEL (Southern Germany), First third of the 19th century.

Very good condition, however, a small repair at the junction of the body and the foot is noted.
