The composition revolves around a large central lozenge medallion, with stylized geometric decoration, set in a field densely adorned with repetitive herati motifs, typical of this tradition. The deep hues - midnight blue, brick red and ivory - lend the ensemble great elegance and decorative presence.

The richly designed main border frames the whole with balance and highlights the central field with a subtle play of chromatic contrasts.
