Tabletop Cartel Clock And Its Rosewood Veneer Base - Napoleon III Period -
A violin-shaped wall clock and its rosewood veneer console – Napoleon III period, circa 1860. The dial is gilt metal with white enamel cartouches. The top of the clock is adorned with Fame holding a trumpet.
Beautifully ornamented with chased gilt bronze acanthus leaves and shells.
H x W x D = 61 x 30 x 13 cm.
Very good condition, having been restored in our workshop. Original movement complete but not verified.
