Large pair of gilt cruets, Strasbourg1692-1725 perhaps by Daniel WURTZ received in 1708. Silver hallmark.
Baluster-shaped, resting on a circular pedestal with springs.the body is engraved with the coat of arms of Louis-Marie de SUAREZ(d'AULAN) (1696-1785), appointed bishop of DAX in 1737.
Accompanied by a console handleeach cruet has a hinged lid, Aqua and Vino, one engravedone engraved with an "A" with a reeded grip, the other engraved with a "V
