Antique Bronze Representing Napoleon Bonaparte At Waterloo, 19th Century

A finely cast antique bronze figure depicting Napoleon Bonaparte, shown standing in his characteristic pose with arms folded, dressed in military uniform with epaulettes.

The Emperor is represented beside a draped pedestal surmounted by his bicorne hat, the side engraved “WATERLOO 15 JUIN 1815”, while the front of the base bears the inscription “NAPOLEON”. This evocative composition reflects the enduring fascination with the Napoleonic era throughout the 19th century.

The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular bronze base and retains a rich, dark patina. The modelling, though compact, is expressive and well balanced, making it an attractive cabinet bronze or desk ornament.
