This small bronze represents a grognard of the Imperial Guard acclaiming the Emperor. This famous model by Charles Edouard Richefeu (1868/1945) dates from 1914. It was extracted by the author from a more monumental group representing the charge of the first regiment of grenadiers of the Imperial Guard. The model is signed on the base and bears the stamp of the founder. The base is in sea green marble. Beautiful golden patina. A plaque fixed to the base bears the name of the model: "Long live the Emperor".
