White marble bust depicting the young Henry of Navarre, the future Henry IV, at the age of 1566. In good overall condition, the sculpture is presented on a circular turned and patinated wooden base, probably original. It is signed on the back: H.IVGERMAIN PILON and dated 1566. Our sculpture is a replica of the bust sculpted by Germain Pilon (1525-1590) and now in the Louvre Museum. Total height 40 cm. Height of the marble 28 cm. Width 20 cm. 19th-century work.
