An elegant late 19th-century French clock, crafted from veined gray marble and richly decorated with gilded bronze mounts.
The upper part is surmounted by a graceful patinated bronze cherub, lending the piece a poetic touch typical of French craftsmanship of this period.
The signed enamel dial, with Roman numerals, is framed by delicate gilded bronze ornaments decorated with flowers and garlands, and rests on an architecturally structured fluted marble base.
