Sword Cane, Late 19th Century
A late 19th-century sword cane composed of a solid bamboo shaft, a horn handle with lovely reddish-brown hues, a gilt copper ferrule, and a brass ferrule at the tip. A button unlocks the opening, providing access to the 55 cm long, triangular-section blade, the tip of which is in perfect condition. There are a few tiny cracks in the bamboo (due to age), but the blade is well-preserved, and the horn has a lovely patina: the cane is solid and in very good condition.
