"Lot Of 19th Century Scottish Brooches To Restore "
A collection of three 19th century Scottish brooches in silver and decorated with Kairngorn stones. A sword and its shield enhanced with agate is a very well-known model. One stone is missing from the blade and the pin. The jewel bears the traditional Scottish hallmark. 8cmA small silver brooch enhanced with agates of a scalloped shape. Two stones are damaged. The setting is complete. 5 cmA large bird's leg (bird from the group of grouse and hazel grouse) enhanced with cut citrine and mounted in silver. Only one claw is missing from the leg. 7 cmThe three jewels are old, born from the fashion launched by Victoria, a regular at Balmoral.
