Helmet entirely made of brass. The movable visor is embossed with two crossed axes and a spear framed by oak branches surmounted by a flaming pyre, bordered with a reed folded over the outer edge. The front and rear bands are embossed with leaves. The crest has a wing decorated with ten gadroons decreasing towards the rear and a mask embossed with a flaming bomb. The front plate is embossed and cut with an eagle perched on a globe, and the plume holder has a square cross-section slightly decreasing towards the bottom. The chin straps have a one-piece chin piece embossed with scalloped scales and a round rosette embossed with gadroons. The inside of the chin straps is reinforced with leather by gluing. No liner.
