Antique Bottle In Blown Glass With Bubbles, Early 20th Century, 1900-1920
A very beautiful, large antique bottle in colorless blown glass, French craftsmanship, possibly from Normandy or the Centre region, early 20th century (1900-1920). The shape is elegant with a pronounced shoulder and a long, slightly flared neck, finished with a thick ring. It retains its original cork stopper. The strongly domed base (upturned bottom) suggests its use for storing fermented or sparkling beverages, cider, vinegar, etc. A pontil mark is clearly visible on the base. Height 31.5 cm, maximum diameter 14.5 cm. In good overall condition. No cracks or chips, clean glass with no internal deposits. There are only a few minor scratches from use, some more visible than others, particularly on one side. Slight wear to the top of the stopper. Approximately 1 kg.
