A beautiful, slender Art Nouveau riding crop, circa 1900, with an elegant pommel and crafted from silver adorned with three opal cabochons. A superb, finely chiseled dragonfly spreads its wings across the pommel, a typical emblem of the naturalist style of the period. The shaft is made of cane and is slightly curved with age. It is very thin, approximately 0,39 inches in diameter; indeed, it was a refined accessory designed for elegance rather than for support. The entire crop measures 35,82 inches in length.
