Empire Period Clock, Circa 1810

An Empire period clock in chased and gilded bronze, circa 1810. Shaped like an antique vase, it is adorned on either side of the enamel dial with Roman numerals, with a winged goddess, as well as Cupid and Bacchus at the neck. The two handles feature floral motifs. The clock comes with its pendulum. The original gilding shows some wear but remains beautifully decorative.
