A stunning nutmeg grater made of tin, a two-handed model with a crank, a wooden handle, tin nailed and pewter soldered , late 19th century, its internal spring with a wooden push button, its crank with a wooden olive, in good working order, and we're still surrounded by that wonderful aroma…
I saw (on Pinterest, thank you) that it's a model that James Hughes of Massachusetts registered in 1877.
Bravo, it still works!
