Charles X Period Writing Table, 19th Century

Wood marquetry and brass stringing adorn the various sides; the upper section is highlighted by a row of pearls.
The drawer opens along the apron to reveal a small cylindrical shelf containing writing implements: an inkwell with its reservoir, and in the center, a compartment for quills and pens.
A writing tablet unfolds in the center; it is covered in black leather and rests on the drawer at the front.
It contains several drawers and a central storage space.
The base is beautifully crafted from sheep's bone, with a richly worked stretcher.
The scrolled feet are further enhanced by brass elements.
The wood has a beautiful color and patina.
There is visible wear to the leather.

There are small losses of marquetry in some places, as well as small losses of wood at some corners.
A row of wooden beads is missing.
There is a crack in the wood at the left foot.
Overall, it is in good condition.
It dates from the late 18th to early 19th century.
